Perhaps, there's no better time to visit Stockholm than during the long days of Summer when the sun rises as early as 3:30am and doesn't set after 10pm. With two-thirds of the city made up of water and parkland, it's no surprise that Stockholmers gravitate to the outdoors in the Summer.
Stockholm was the first leg of a recent three-part-trip where I met up with my cousin after 20+ years and experienced first-hand one of the most beautiful Scandinavian cities.
It turned out to be a memorable trip, as connecting with my cousin after all these years was the highlight of my trip—we had great conversations, shared fantastic stories and enjoyed plenty of great meals.
Hope to be back in Stockholm later this year to meet the newest member of the family and get to discover more of this beautiful city.
Next travelogue the Fjords, Norway ... stay tuned.
